Topicort ® (Desoximetasone) is a high-potency Corticosteroid, available in four prescribing options: Cream 0.25%, LP Cream 0.05%, Gel 0.05%, and Ointment 0.25%. Effective and well-tolerated for the treatment of scalp psoriasis and dermatitis, Topicort® is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dermatoses.

The most common adverse reactions include burning, itching, irritation,
dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acneiform eruptions, hypopigmentation, perioral
dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, maceration of the skin, secondary
infection, skin atrophy, striae and miliaria. When used in large areas or under
occlusive dressing, patients should be evaluated for HPA axis suppression.
